Dr. Lods is from Chillicothe, OH, where he graduated from Chillicothe High School in 2006. He then attended Wittenberg University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry in 2010.  From there, Dr. Lods attended Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne where he earned his Master of Science degree in Biology in 2012.  He then went on to complete his dental training at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2017.  

Following dental school Dr. Lods began practicing dentistry in Muncie, Indiana.  After 3 years of working in Muncie Dr. Lods and his family moved to Rockville and opened Lods of Smiles Family Dentistry.  Dr. Lods is married to his wife, Elizabeth and they have two children: Braelynn and Zander.
